3.2.2 Option to waive the right to a further communication under Rule 71(3) EPC
From 1 July 2015 until 30 June 2020, the EPO offered applicants the option of expressly waiving their right to receive a further communication under Rule 71(3) EPC (see notice from the EPO dated 8 June 2015; OJ 2015, A52). This option was abolished by notice from the EPO dated 26 May 2020 (OJ 2020, A73).
