Valentyn Frechka is the Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Releaf Paper, a company that transforms fallen leaves into sustainable paper. At 16 while hiking in the Carpathians, Frechka had the idea of combating deforestation by transforming fallen leaves into a resource for paper production—simultaneously reducing carbon emissions from decomposition. His passion for innovation led him to join the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, where he embarked on the journey that would ultimately result in his groundbreaking invention.
