1.8 Certified copies of international applications

Where the applicant needs a certified copy of an international application which was filed with the EPO as receiving Office, a request may be filed with the EPO together with, where applicable, the payment of the relevant fee (see GL, A‑III, 4.4.2). The certified copy will be issued on paper.
