How do I know whether I can claim a refund directly or need a refund code?
If you’re a registered user of MyEPO and Mailbox, you’ll be able to claim the refund directly in Central Fee Payment. So you don’t need a refund code.
You can also check the letter we sent you (advice of refund). It will either say that you can claim the refund directly in Central Fee Payment or that a refund code will be sent.
Please note that letters advising of refunds relating to fees for PCT applications don’t provide this information.
Please always check in Central Fee Payment under Refunds, Claim refund without refund code whether you can claim the refund directly. If so, you don’t need a refund code.
