New national fee rates in euros
Croatia introduced the euro as its sole currency on 1 January 2023,1and the State Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Croatia has informed us of its new patent fees in that currency.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Croatia are therefore advised that as of 1 January 2023 the following rates apply:
1. Publication of translations of the claims pursuant to Article 65 EPC:
EUR 132.72
Publication of amended claims: EUR 106.18

3. Conversion of European patent applications or patents into national patent applications or patents:
National filing fee: EUR 159.27 (basic rate for formal examination for an application of up to 30 pages and up to 10 claims)
For each page of the application in excess of 30: EUR 0.66
For each patent claim in excess of 10: EUR 1.33
4. Transfer of rights by transaction (e.g. sale, merger, transfer of title) or by operation of law (e.g. succession, insolvency, compulsory execution): EUR 26.54 per entry
