Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 7 February 2018 fixing the amount of the fee for validating European patents in Cambodia
THE PRESIDENT OF THE EUROPEAN PATENT OFFICE,
having regard to the agreement signed on 23 January 2017 between the royal government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the European Patent Organisation on validation of European patents,
having regard to the Royal Kram Nº NS/RKM/1117/017 on the ratification of the agreement on validation of European patents between the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the European Patent Organisation,
having regard to the declaration (Prakas) Nº282 MIH/2017 on the Regulation and Procedures for the validation of European Patents in Cambodia,
having consulted the Minister of Industry and Handicraft of the Kingdom of Cambodia,
HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1
The fee1 for validating European patents in Cambodia is fixed at EUR 180.
Article 2
If the validation fee is paid late, an administrative surcharge2 of 50% of the amount specified in Article 1 must be paid at the same time.
Article 3
The fees under Articles 1 and 2 apply to payments made as from 1 March 2018, the date of entry into force of the validation agreement between the royal government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the European Patent Organisation.
Article 4
This decision enters into force on 1 March 2018.
