A revised version of this publication entered into force.

Where applicants having their residence or principal place of business within the territory of a contracting state having a an official language other than English, French or German as an official language, and nationals of that state who are resident abroad avail themselves make use of the options provided for under Art. 14(4), the examination fee is reduced under certain circumstances (Rule 6(3) to (7) in conjunction with Art. 14(1) RFees) (see A‑X, 9.2.1 and 9.2.3).
