When and for which European patents can a Unitary Patent be requested?

A Unitary Patent may be requested for any European patent granted on or after the date of application of Regulations (EU) No 1257/2012 and (EU) No 1260/2012. These two regulations took effect on 1 June 2023, the date of entry into force of the Agreement on a Unified Patent Court (UPCA).
