Can members of the public remain anonymous during oral proceedings before opposition divisions held by VICO?

Members of the public will not be asked to introduce themselves, and the opposition division will not check their ID documents. However, if so requested by the chair, they must temporarily switch on their camera to allow the videoconference participants to see who they are.

The name under which you wish to appear at the beginning of the Zoom VICO should be entered before joining the conference. It is helpful if you identify yourself as "PUBLIC".

If you use your Zoom account to access the VICO, your username will be visible. You may therefore wish to change it before entering the VICO.

Once participants have entered the Zoom VICO, only the members of the division can rename them. If you have not entered the conference with the name "PUBLIC" you may be renamed thus before the start of the oral proceedings.
