Manufacturing and industrial processes

New and inventive industrial processes are potentially patentable. These might involve new equipment, or new ways to organise existing equipment. They might combine a series of known manufacturing steps in a new sequence or under new conditions in a surprising way. The resulting products from the process might be conventional, i.e. not new in themselves. However, the patent for the new process may extend to the products if they result from that process.
