ISO audit reaffirms EPO’s commitment to excellence
ISO certifications for quality, information security, environmental management systems and occupational health and safety
In April 2025, external ISO auditors conducted a full certification audit of European Patent Office (EPO) management systems.
The EPO is pleased to announce that it has successfully maintained its ISO certifications for quality (ISO 9001), occupational health and safety (ISO 45001) and information security (ISO 27001). For the first time it has also received certification under ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental management systems which helps organisations proactively minimise their environmental footprint.
Once again, the EPO has demonstrated its ability to meet international standards and implement best practices across all operations.
Through its integrated management system (IMS), the EPO consolidates various systems and processes into a unified framework, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services while driving continuous improvement in its operations.
