New national fee rates in euros
Latvia will introduce the euro as its sole currency as from 1 January 20141, and the Patent Office of the Republic of Latvia has informed us of its new patent fees in that currency.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Latvia are therefore advised that from 1 January 2014 the following rates apply:
1. Publication or correction of translations of the claims pursuant to Article 67(3) EPC: EUR 35.57
2. Publication or correction of translations of the patent specification under Article 65 EPC: EUR 49.80 (if filed on paper) or EUR 35.57 (if filed electronically)
