Examination Matters 2012 - An interactive seminar on patent examination practice at the EPO
This seminar is traditionally aimed at patent practitioners, in particular professional representatives before the EPO in industry or private practice.
It will be held on 11 and 12 October 2012 at the European Patent Office in Munich.
Description
First held in 2008, Examination Matters is a discussion forum for sharing firsthand experience on general issues and on more specific aspects of day-to-day work on European patent applications at the EPO. Through lively interaction with EPO examiners, participants will receive immediate feedback on their questions and an insight into the examiners' way of thinking. The workshop-style event allows participants to tailor the programme to their needs and is also an excellent networking opportunity. The working language is English, the level of expertise advanced.
After registration and a welcome address, there will be a plenary session. The core of the seminar consists of workshop sessions. When enrolling online, participants will be invited to indicate a personal choice of six from among 25 wide-ranging topics.
