New fee rates
By Ministerial Order of 2 August 20051 some of the fees of the Institut national de la propriété industrielle have been amended.
Applicants and proprietors of European patents with effect in France are advised that from 1 September 2005 the following rates apply:
1. Publication of translations of the claims pursuant to Article 67(3) EPC:
EUR 35 (unchanged)
2. Publication of translations of the patent specification under Article 65 EPC:
EUR 35 (unchanged)

Priority fee: none
Search fee: EUR 500
Production and transmission of copies of the European patent application to the designated states: EUR 25 plus EUR 0.75 per page and copy (unchanged)
5. Registering transfers, licences and other rights: EUR 26 up to a maximum amount of EUR 260 where a request for registration concerns several rights (unchanged).
Updating of the information brochure "National law relating to the EPC"
Users of the EPO information brochure "National law relating to the EPC" (12th edition) are asked to make the appropriate amendments to the amounts of fees shown in Table VI, columns 1, 3 and 5, as well as Table VII, column 2.
