epoline® Helpdesk at The Hague
On 1 June 1999 the first step in the creation of a single epoline® Helpdesk was taken when the Register of European Patents on-line was transferred from Vienna to the Receiving Section The Hague.
This new Helpdesk brings together a number of applicant helpdesk facilities (epoline®, EASY, Patentin, Information Desk, Register of European Patents on-line) thereby allowing a single point of assistance for users of the European patent system. Specifically the team will be there to introduce, guide and help users of these facilities as well as to collect feedback in order to improve the services offered.

At the moment the opening hours are:
Monday to Thursday: 08.00 to 12.00 and 13.00 to 16.45 hrs CET.
Friday: 08.00 to 12.00 and 13.00 to 15.30 hrs CET
However, in early 2000 it is intended to extend these opening hours from Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 18.00 hrs CET.
User support is in the three official languages of the EPO (German, French, English).
