New fee rates
On 1 May 2013 the Federal Council approved the decision of the Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IGE) of 7 November 2012 increasing the renewal fees for Swiss and European patents effective in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.1
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Switzerland and Liechtenstein are therefore advised that from 1 January 2014 the following rates apply:
