National fees in euro
In view of the introduction of the euro, the patent fees have been laid down in the new currency by the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 1 August 20011.
Applicants and proprietors of European patents with effect in Luxembourg are advised that from 1 January 2002 the following rates apply:
1. Filing of European patent applications in Luxembourg:
Transmittal fee: EUR 19
2. Publication of translations of the claims pursuant to Article 67(3) EPC: EUR 14

Updating of the information brochure "National law relating to the EPC"
Users of the EPO information brochure "National law relating to the EPC" (11th edition) are asked to make the appropriate amendments to the amounts of fees shown in Tables II, column 5, III.B, columns 2 and 9, VI, columns 1 and 3, VII, column 2, and IX, column 4.
