4.2.1. Entitlement to file

The request may be filed by the proprietor of a European patent or of a Unitary Patent or their duly appointed representative (see 7.2). In the case of the transfer of a Unitary Patent, the request for re-establishment of rights may only be filed by the registered proprietor (see 2.2.2).
