Sweden may be a small country, but it has been home to some of the greatest inventions of our century. Dynamite, the adjustable spanner, the boat propeller, the safety match and the zipper are all considered products of Swedish minds. Each year, in memory of the great inventor Alfred Nobel, Sweden celebrates the most prestigious prize in the world.
On this tour, we will discover what lay behind these inventions and what
effect they have on technology today. We will visit the National Museum of
Science and Technology and see the very first examples of great inventions. We
will also take a short tour around Stockholm
to see some places that helped shape the lives of these inventors. Our final
stop will be the Nobel
Museum, where we will go on an exclusive guided tour and learn more about
Alfred Nobel's life and inventions.
